Ja Morant grew up with Tee Morant, his father, Jamie Morant, his mother, and his younger sister, Teniya Morant. They lived in Dalzell, South Carolina and both Ja and Teniya Morant went to private school. Delzell wasn't abad place to live, but had a larger crime rate than the national average. Both Ja and his sister are incredible players and Teniya learned a lot from her brother throughout the years. The two would play together and Ja talks about how the both of them would always challenge eachother, making them better players and they helped push eachother and grow.
Ja's father, Tee Morant, has always been very invested in his children's basketball careers. Tee is seen courtside at almost every game that Ja plays and he would make all of Ja's games growing up. Ja gew up with both parents who were very supportive of his dream. Ja and his sister both had the same trainer growing up, their father. Tee loves watching his kids play and is just as committed and interrested in the sport as his kids. He trained Ja and Teniya to use their full capibility and helped shape who they are as players. Ja's sister is now starting her season at Mississippi Valley State University as a point guard.
At home, Ja also has his long-term girlfriend, KK Dixon, and their daughter,Kaari Morant. Ja has been with his girlfriend, KK, since 2018. KK and Kaari are spotted courtside and most of Ja's games. Kaari also gained popularity just as quick as her dad because of what she does courtsde and after the games. Kaari can be seen heering for Ja all game and is best known across the league frimmitating her dad's dance moves. Kaari is three years old and is Morant's pride and joy. Ever since Ja was little, he had a strong connection with his family and he shows his love for his family to the media.
