Minecraft is a world renouned survival/sandbox game, known for its blocky personalitiy, and list of monsters. Another trait Minecraft is known for, is it's randomly generated structures in the countless biomes. This webpage is to help you identify all the structures in every biome, and a breif explanation of their purpose. Villages can spawn in savanna, plains taiga, meadows, snowy plain, and deserts. they consist of different houses, little farms, wells, and bonfires. Villages can have different styled houses based on the biome. These villages contain villagers which you can trade with, by using emeralds.
Abandoned villages are a lot like they sound, they have no villagers, the hosues are broken, covered in cobwebs, and vines. And the only reminesnce of life, is a couple zombie villagers.
Temples can only be found in deserts. they have a pyarmid like build with two pillars on either side of the entrance,on the inside its rather hollow. however if you break the blocks in the middle of the pyarmid. there is a secret room with four loot chest. there is a TNT trap as well inside the secret room.
Ruined nether portals are broken portals with mssing obsidian blocks as well as crying obsidian blocks. The environment around the portal is nertherrack(A very common block found in the Nether). you can also find gold blocks, and a loot chest with enchanted gold armor and tools, along with other items.
Woodland Mansions are extremely hard to find because they have a very small perecentage of spawning. They can only spawn in Dark oak forests. these have lots of mansions contain lots of monsters, and pillagers. there are plenty of of different rooms in these Woodland mansions.there are a few rooms containing wool structures. a few rooms with mob spawners. And a room with an arena in it
Mineshafts Are found underground in caves. they are typically pretty big, and its easy to get lost in them.Whats good about mineshafts, is that you can find minecarts with chests in them.These chests cancontain seeds, coal, iron, golden apples, name tags,and some other things.
Pillager outpost are large structures found typically near in the genrally vicinity of a village. Pillager outpost have layers to them. on the top there is a chest which can contain dark oak logs, string, arrows, croosbow, and other things. These pillager outpost are fortified by pillagers. on the outer edges of they have dark oak prison cells where Iron golems have been captured.
Swamphuts are found in Swamp biomes. they are small little huts, containing a crafting table, a cauldron, and a fower pot witha mushroom on the window sill. you can find a witch in the hut, with a black cat.
Strongholds are fortress under ground protecting the long behold End portal. to the End dimension. These fortress can be found underground. to actually find the stronghold, you can use ender eyes. Ender eyes when used fly into the air in the direction of the stronghold. once you keep following the ender eye, the ender eye will eventually go down intot the ground. That is where the stronghold is. The strong hold is made mostly of stone brick blocks. IT can be diffuclt to find the end portal room because the stronghold is large. In the stronghold yo can find chests with ende eyes, iron ingots, gold ingots, iron armor, and obsidian. Strongholds also have libraries, which have chests which can contain encahntment books. There is also jail cells in the stronghold.
Ocean monuments are large pyarmids which are found anywhere under water in the sea. they contain Sponges. which are protected by an Elder guardian boss. The bosses minions are the normal guardians. Once you arrive near the ocean monument, you receive a mining fatigue effect, which makes it near impossible to break any block.
Ocean ruins can be found anywhere in the sea. These are protected by a few drowned szombies. Inside you can find a chest, containing Iron ingots, gold nuggets, or emeralds. They can have treasure map, which can lead you to buried treasure , or a woodland mansion
Shipwrecks can be found under the water, or surfaceing the air from water.inside shipwrecks they can contain one or two chests. the chests can contain seeds, wheat, leather armor, diamonds, iron ingots, lapiz, iron nuggets, and a buried treasure map.
